AboutAbout Dr. Markey
Dr. Markey obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from East Carolina University and began his behavioral health career in Hawaii, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the American School of Professional Psychology.
While living in Hawaii, Dr. Markey worked full time as an Addictions Counselor in a residential substance abuse treatment facility for two years. A few years later, Dr. Markey obtained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in California. While living in California, Dr. Markey held employment as an Addictions Counselor in a residential drug and alcohol treatment center, and additionally worked as a Therapist with traumatized foster care children. Dr. Markey then obtained his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in California and moved to Pennsylvania to complete his pre and post doctoral supervision training. Dr. Markey has since become a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in addition to a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Delaware and Pennsylvania. During Dr. Markey's employment after achieving his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, he has held positions as Clinical Director, Regional Director and Director of Correctional Mental Health Services. Dr. Markey opened his private Forensic Psychology practice in Doylestown, PA in November 2015.
